Hello. Welcome to Untangled Art. So glad you’re here.

I am Tracy Petrie, visual artist and designer of Untangled Art. I am an art teacher and illustrator.  I love creating colourful, fun , and whimsical pieces in polymer clay.   I also love to paint in acrylic, oil, and watercolour. I have a BFA degree in visual arts from TRU.  When I am not in my studio creating I am encouraging my students to be creative and love art.

I grew up in the Thompson Okanagan region. I enjoy hiking, fishing, paddling, forging for edible plants , and chasing after butterflies. It is this deep connection with nature that brings me back to creating paintings and designs inspired by our natural world.

Each watercolour painting is handmade, from the  sketching to the painting and then creating the printed cards or art prints. 

My clay earrings are unique and handmade in small batches. All posts are nickel free. Brass embellishments are often used to compliment my jewelry.
